I'm going to say as little as possible about these guys, because everything I've read, including lengthy liner notes by a band member, come close to over-thinking things. Even if some of it is tongue in cheek. It's just a goddamn band, stripped down, playing simple songs that I like hearing repeatedly. I do like the production. It's kind of flat; cheap, without sounding too intentionally lo-fi. Some of the stuff is really good (the first two). Some sucks. And that's it. Done.
