ALWAYS ROOM FOR MORE

You may have to reach for your bigger palette on this one. Maybe not. It's from Ghana and it's Alhaji K. Frimpong. [The strictly rock folks scramble.] Still here? Good. Dig this, "Kyenkyen Bi Adi Mawu". It was Frimpong's biggee, though you probably won't know it. Join the club. But it's got a cool vibe. Check the drums. Original or not, that beat is badass. The organ too, all muffled exotic and all, and a cool trumpet solo. Then there's the repetitiveness. Six and a half minutes of hazy plodding funkiness from another land.
